As many sunergoi readers know, I am an associate professor of Old Testament and the president of the Reformed Theological Seminary campus that serves the Washington, D.C, area. The administrative part of my job provides some of the most rewarding experiences and opportunities of my vocation, and through it I get to be involved in the work of theological education in such a unique environment as the Washington area. Many of the people and organizations who find themselves drawn to our city make up a brilliant, diverse, and energetic community of faith, one that constantly encourages and challenges me in my spiritual formation.
